God's Plan of Salvation
Step 1: Realize that God loves you
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Step 2: Realize that we are ALL sinners
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:23
Step 3: Realize that sin has a penalty
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23
Step 4: Realize that Jesus paid our penalty
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
Step 5: Believe on Jesus
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
Step 6: Receive Christ Jesus as your personal Saviour by faith!
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
Step 7: Pray!
"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died on the cross and paid the penalty for my sin. I believe that You rose from the dead three days later. I place my faith in You alone to forgive my sin and save me. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, AMEN."
